CASA Training and Orientation Schedule
Perhaps the most time consuming part of becoming a CASA Volunteer is the very beginning stages of your involvement with CASA. Training consists of a total of 30 hours spread out over the course of two and a half weeks. The training can be incredibly informative and packed with the foundational tools necessary to begin your advocacy. Some times, it has so much information that time sweeps by so quickly, and before you know it, you're being sworn in and beginning your journey!
Before going into training, however, it's important that you attend a quick interview. This time with a CASA Volunteer Coordinator is important; you will learn more about the duties of a CASA volunteer and how your interests align with our program. We will take time to answer all your questions and talk about the training schedule and time commitment. Please bring your completed application.
